Rare French galvanised garden fumigator, bee smoker or greenhouse frost protector.

Great old garden tool which could easily be repurposed to a coal scuttle for the fireside.

It has a swing handle and hinged lid. I bought it in France from an old couple who explained it would normally be used in the greenhouse, for fumigating or keeping the frost out in the winter.

It is in good vintage condition with great patina.
